3LAU makes a great mix of Set Fire and Michael Calfan's heart-pumping beat. This track has really found a way to sync Calfan's beat perfectly with Adele's smoky and powerful vocals. They hit the bass hard and Adele hits the notes strong. Set fire to your night. Press play. Set Fire - Adele (Michael Calfan 3LAU Remix)

Silver Medallion and Feature Cuts join forces on "Drop Out, Kiss Girls", a banging new Electro/Dubstep single. The track is definitely one of those tracks that people will be singing along to at festivals. It is also very unique sounding and I think the two are on to something with it. Stay tuned for more collaborations between Silver Medallion and Feature Cuts. The two have a project planned together for a late spring release. "Drop Out, Kiss Girls is the saga of America's wasted youth, with the world crumbling around [...]

Chi Duly just released his latest remix off his upcoming Balloons of Haus project, due out this Tuesday. The project is composed of remixes of songs from The Weeknd's three mixtapes. If they all sound like this, I think it is going to be a pretty good project.. Download: The Weeknd - D.D. (Chi Duly Remix)

I've heard many chop & skew The Weeknd's vocals before, but Madeaux does it a little differently in "The Space Between Us." He doesn't try and overemphasize The Weeknd to entice people in, but takes what makes the vocals one of a kind and turns it into an even grander hypnotizer. At first I wasn't quite sure if some of the vocals were The Weeknd, they were that chopped & skewed, but that's what makes it so special, he lets you glimpse in & out, seamlessly flowing. Maddeux - The Space [...]

Today I've got a track that's got a real unique sound. It's from Canadian based Silver Medallion, we've featured his . He's got a voice that reminds me of an 802s singer, in the best way possible. This electronic powered track starts off pretty chill, then continues to buildup, and finally drop the bass at 1:40. Feature Cuts was recruited for the production of it, and really killed it. It's a groove filled song, with clashing bass giving it some contrast. Turn it up, enjoy! Silver Medallion & Feature Cuts - Drop Gout, Kiss Girls [...]

Rooks powerful remix of "Clouds" may just be too powerful for the vocals in Love in the Circus. Definitely feeling what each is bringing, but Rooks remix is such a dirty one - only capable in the Bay, by the way - that it may trot over Leanna Rachel's vocals a bit too much. Then again, I've always had a taste for gettin grimey with such lustrous vocals. ![[Fresh] AWOLNATION – Sail (Skorge Dubstep Remix)](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4054342_lg.jpg)
What keeps me motivated to keep this music blog going every day is to help expose people to new music and help the very artists and producers that create them. Found this gem while browsing the internet and I was just blown away. There have been TONS of remixes of the classic song "Sail" by the American electronic rock band AWOLNATION, most notably from WhiteNoise, Omega, innerpartysystem and Ill-esha but today we present you addition. Skorge is the moniker of Tyler Conlin, based out of Las Vegas. Just a few days ago he uploaded this gorgeous rendition to [...]
![[Listen/Download] Ohama- Where Do You Call Home?](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4054400_lg.jpg)
by teepoo Japanese-Canadian Ohama aka Tona Walt Ohama sounds like he's stuck in the 80s with this crazily addictive synth-pop. The dude is from Rainer, Alberta. Perhaps when he was bored of the flat prairies he bought a synth and started experimenting. He even makes fun of it sort of in Where Do You Call Home with the line " I live on a potato farm" that kicks it off. It's almost like spoken word over some loveable beats. Ohama- Where Do You [...]

Of Montreal have been one of indie rock's most prolific- and most whimsical- mainstays for quite some time. The recent release of their newest LP, Paralytic Stalks, marks the band's eleventh full-xlength album within a span of fifteen years. During that time, we have been witness to the personal and artistic evolutions of frontman Kevin Barnes, Of Montreal's leader and founding father. Through his records, Barnes has dealt with issues of unrequited love (1997's Cherry Peel, ) created a Ziggy-like alter ego (2008's Skeletal Lamping, ) and even suffered through a mental breakdown (the total genius of 2007's [...]
![Lana Del Rey – Without You (Kill Paris Remix) [Dubstep]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4054198_lg.jpg)
No matter the drama surrounding Lana Del Rey nowadays, her emotion-filled vocals seem to be the perfect match for EDM producers to exploit. Upcoming proucer Kill Paris transforms the sweet, soft and longing song 'Without You'by Lana Del Rey into a powerful slow-burn dubstep track. The productions is just flawless as Kill Paris manipulates her vocals into ever growing intricate vocal loops layered on a backdrop of carefully crafted wobbles and filtered electronics. In this era where everything and anything has a dubstep version, we praise Kill Paris for not only maintaining the emotional core of the [...]

Head over to James Blake's tumblr or this direct link to download a fan-compiled live album that the English electronic musician is offering for free. Blake is coming off of a busy year in which he not only released his debut self-titled album but two separate EPs, and given the rate at which he has put out music in the past, there should be even more expected in 2012. The live album contains cuts from all three of his recent releases, fantastic earlier EPs, and some unreleased tracks. Check out the tracklisting below: [...]

No one has shaped my view of music more than James Yancey. He challenged our idea of music and pushed us towards a more progressive and creative appreciation of hip hop. He died six years ago, but the music lives on in his wake. This project is dedicated to the life and memory of the one and only J Dilla. -L'Orange DOWNLOAD "Still Spinning" ON BANDCAMP CLICK HERE L'Orange: Twitter • Facebook • Bandcamp [...]

This track has been blogged already by everyone, but i'm huge fan of Scissor Sisters and i have never blogged them before. This remix for "Lafaye" from School Of Seven Bells is so good and full of beautiful details that keeps me going back and forward on the player. I love the ambient and every element connects so well taking the original into another dimension. In case you didn't know the original track belongs to School of Seven Bells new album 'Ghostory' to be released on February 28th. [download here ] [...]
