O filme é liderado por Rainn Wilson de The Office, que é uma espécie de novo Jim Carrey mais fraco; Liv Tyler que é sempre lembrada por Armageddon e ser filha de Steven Tyler, e Kevin Bacon. A idéia do filme parece ser parecida com a de Kick-Ass , por isso, não esperem nada além de algumas risadas.

Perhaps because Super comes from the demented mind of director James Gunn, or perhaps because there's something oddly irresistible about the darkly comic superhero deconstruction film, or perhaps even because Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page have a dorky sort of chemistry in this trailer, but whatever the reason, there seems to be something positively alluring about this film. Plus? The Crimson Bolt carries a hefty wrench. Super hits theaters on April 1, 2011. [via moviefone ]

We are at the halfway point of TIFF and it has been another interesting year. As there is still plenty of festival left to go I will keep this post brief. I just wanted to bring your attention to a recent podcast I took part in over at The Dark of the Matinee blog.
