Much beloved Toronto singer/songwriter Emma-Lee has announced the release of her new studio album. Backseat Heroine will come out on February 7th. Emma-Lee has a whack of tour dates coming up around town, including: Massey Hall, Nov 26 Lula Lounge, Nov 29 Dakota Tavern, Dec 8 I'm sure they're be plenty of opportunity to catch her around the album release as well.
Canadian singer/songwriter Emma-Lee downshifts from the jazzy, cabaret-friendly art/pop of her '09 debut album Never Just A Dream for simpler, acoustic-leaning alt-country on her forthcoming sophomore album Backseat Heroine , due in early 2012 north of the border. While going through a stack of CDs earlier this week I found the 2009 debut album of Emma-Lee (reviewed here ), which made me curious of what she was up to nowadays.
