Blogophilia 8 & 8.5 Repost We resume our reposts of the Blogophilia series this week with volumes 8 and 8.5. Why 8 and 8.5? Well, I mixed these at the same time, and the tracks came from the same collection of songs I reviewed. Calling one 8 and the other 9 didn't feel right. We've also had a 12.5, and recently a 26.5 for the same reason. Like volume 7, these two mixes really capture the summer spirit. Volume 8.5 has a throw in from an "oldie but goodie." Enjoy... The Entrance Band @ The Satellite. StumbleUpon does bring up some occasional interesting pleasures. Three boxes ticked in fiery quick succession - Classic Rock, great gig flyer and a cute female bass player (obviously applying a political correctness certificate to that last statement). The Entrance Band, although a household name throughout California and surrounding states, UK success remains surprisingly sparse. As the above flyer indicates there`s a five date stint during March at ` The Satellite ` in Los Angeles and the video for `Lookout` below indicates how bloody good they are.
