On Friday the 20th of January he tweeted the following message: 'Long day of demoing. 15 new songs of varying quality down. Time for a curry and a pint.' Continuing with the currently recording news, Massachusetts-based hardcore/metal band Converge will enter guitarist Kurt Ballou's Godcity studios in Salem, Massachusetts this week to begin recording their upcoming Epitaph Records release, tentatively called All We Love We Leave Behind . This album, due out in late spring/early summer, will be the follow-up to 2009's Axe to Fall .
Off With Their Heads frontman, Ryan Young, recently underwent surgery on his throat. Unfortunately Young cannot afford to pay his hospital bills so he has set up a <a href=" http://www.tumblr.com" tumblr page asking for help. British singer/songwriter, Frank Turner , has added more dates to his previously announced tours with Social Distortion and Dropkick Murphys . The first leg of the tour Turner will be with Social Distortion then joining Dropkick Murphys for the second half . He will be touring in support of his 2011 Epitaph Records release, England Keep My Bones . Turner recently released a holiday song with Jon Snodgrass entitled "Happy New Year" .
