The first single from 'Until The Quiet Comes', the upcoming album of producer extraordinaire Flying Lotus. This track hints at a more refined, mellow approach to production from the LA man, who's previous more experimental sounds have given him many accolades. Perhaps this is where it has all been builing up to, a discovery of sounds before determining which path he wishes to travel. The silky voice of Erykah Badu partners FlyLo's instrumentation (which also uses the unmistakable Thundercat - a Brainfeeder label signee - on the bass) and this is a precursor to a collaboration album in [...]

Flying Lotus and Erykah Badu on a track together? That'll work. Of course, when you get a couple of creative types like these two into a studio, there's a pretty good chance they're not going to come back with the same old, same old. And I certainly wouldn't call 'See Thru To U' a stock-standard tune.
