The rapper stopped by the morning show to perform his Top 10 hit "Good Feeling" , which takes its hook from Avicii's "Levels" , which in turn samples the late Etta James' 1962 song "Something's Got a Hold On Me". "I'm deeply saddened by the passing of the Great Etta James and I will be forever grateful for the gift she blessed me with," tweeted the rapper after hearing of James' death. Soul legend Etta James' will be laid to rest at the end of this week, following her death at age 73 on January 20. A public viewing will be held in Inglewood, California on Friday, while the Reverend Al Sharpton will eulogize the singer at a private funeral in Gardena on Saturday. A statement from Sharpton's representative yesterday said the funeral will include performances by celebrities, but those names were not announced. "At Last" singer James, who died after a battle with leukemia and other ailments, would have celebrated her 74th birthday today.
