Para éste, el grupo decidió burlarse un poco y hacer una especie de detrás de cámaras de una película, comenzando una escena en la que Peter Fonda llama a Dennis Hopper para proponerle grabar una road movie , la cual no es otra que la famosa Easy Rider de 1969. The Fiery Furnaces - Even In The Rain 'Ex-Guru' was one of my favourite tracks of 2007. It crammed everything that makes The Fiery Furnaces great into one song: clever wordplay, bombastic riffs, catchy melodies and a confoundingly frantic tempo. I'm Going Away , the Friedbergers' eighth album, sees them in more plaintive form and while there are less lightning-bolt moments like 'Ex-Guru, the pace spreads out the usual torrent of ideas, making it easier to lure more listeners in.
