The Antlers have released a video for their Burst Apart single, “Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out”. I still adore the incredible amount of energy at the end of the song, and I’m glad the video relates some of that energy back to me.  Burst Apart , which is fantastic in every which way, is out now. The Antlers have premiered their music video for ' Burst Apart ' single, " Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out ". The music video was directed by Gabe Imlay .

After releasing their stellar second LP Burst Apart several weeks ago, New York trio the Antlers followed up today with a new video for "Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out". The dark theme of the video goes along well with the band's aesthetic, dower enough to be goth without the bad music, while the actual song itself puts frontman Peter Silberman's impressive vocal range on full display. Burst Apart is out now on Frenchkiss Records, and is already ranking pretty high as one my favorite albums of the year so far. via Pitchfork

Spotted this new Antlers video at P&P just now. I agree with Confusion that Hospice was a breakthrough LP. I put a bunch of my friends onto this record and it quickly became our favorite music to fall asleep or lounge too. Their new album Burst Apart has songs reminiscent of that classic first album and also explores new sonic territory. "Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out" is more pensive-turned-chaotic jam reminiscent of everyone from Radiohead to Jose Gonzalez and I think this new video does [...]

It’s pretty safe to assume that the opening sentence of almost every single review of Burst Apart is going to include a reference to Hospice , signalling the start of a lengthy comparison between what was widely considered to be a lofty and emotional juggernaut with its eagerly anticipated follow up. After any breakout success album, people wait with bated breath to see whether the band will go back to the same well again, crack under their own pressure, or come back with something wildly different, new, and exciting (or some combination of any of these outcomes).
