Psychiatrist Raymond W. Kam of the Boston Children's Hospital has been barred from practicing medicine after diagnosing a 16-year-old girl with being possessed by "evil spirits" and appointing himself her "spiritual mentor." Which, you know, is not so much something psychiatrists are allowed to do. Kam began treating the girl in 2011, and often talked to members of his church about the fact that he was worried about her "spiritual health." Check out a new track that Power Animal (a.k.a. Keith Hampson) premiered today via The Fader. It's a remix by Spirituals (a.k.a. Tyler Tadlock) of the title track from Power Animal's forthcoming album Exorcism , which will be released February 21 via Crash Symbols and his non-profit label Human Kindness Overflowing . Boing Boing has some funny video of an exorcism performed in an apartment building .  No word on whether or not Linda Blair made it out alive. Love the passive aggressive note left at the door, but I suppose it's not kosher to interrupt this kind of thing and ask them to keep it down.

I'm off to Chicago for the weekend, bros. Unfortunately, due to work constraints and leaving town immediately afterwards, I don't have a lot of time to write a fun Halloween-themed entry. So...
