★★★★☆ Fabric Live is on some can't/stop won't stop business, following quality 2011 mixes from Jackmaster, Ramandanman and Four Tet. Bristol UK is once more the epicenter for FWD movement when Rob "Pinch" Ellis quickly puts on his stomping boots and bonds house, techno and acid with stone cold bass that easily wipes out the non-committal. His own remix of Henry & Louis sets a wrecking ball standard, and Boddika & Joy Orbison join the demolition until the joint becomes a write off. Tempos twist this way and that, going flat [...]

Beach Fossils took over the Lower East Side's Cake Shop on Saturday night - but the band itself did not perform. Rather, three former Beach Fossils members each performed with their own bands that they've formed: John Peña with Heavenly Beat , Christopher Burke with Fabric and Cole Smith with DIVE . John Peña of Heavenly Beat kicked off [...]
In the latest instalment of the FabricLive mix series, Pinch takes up the reigns with a powerful mix that starts and ends with the same track. It can be listened to on loop, if you want... The... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]
New Music Event | Hospitality @ Fabric Well it might be a bit bigger than Digital in Brighton, but Fabric is every bit as messy in the main room. This Friday will see some big names take the controls so make sure you're there. Tickets are sold out (boo) but there are, apparently, 1000 on the door. I've got mine but my friends don't so I'll be queueing up with you. Here's the highlights (and by highlights, I mean just the whole damn list): High Contrast | [...]

SMOG | Media Contender | The Galaxy/ Observatory Eccentric, Fabricated, and I had a special invitation to join in the celebration of SMOG's 5 year anniversary at the Galaxy Theater[now called The Observatory]. We were also able to extend this invitation to a lucky listener of Dank Radio. So before we begin we'd like to thank Drew and everyone at SMOG for their hospitality. Previous to Skream's lower frequency onslaught we were able to catch Kelly Dean and Flinch represent for the whole SMOG crew. DJ Skeet Skeet warmed up [...]
It's that time again when Real Playaz take over Fabric in their monthly special and December means it's a chance to celebrate the festive period with your favourite Drum and Bass label.... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]
"When deciding together which tracks we wanted to go with we took into consideration the timelessness of the songs, tracks from our past and our present and presented them to tell our story. The start is very representative of the Visionquest DJ sound and the end shows the eclectic sound of our label. It goes from music for clubs to music for life." (Shaun Reeves)
Boxing day, the day of recovery, or if you're into Rinse FM, the day of rave. Fabric sees the entire roster of DJs and artists hitting the superclub in Farringdon on the 26th. What else do I... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]

As we burst towards the weekend a breakneck pace it time to get it one last nudge on the home straight. Its fair to say that most fans of electronic music have a few Fabric mixes in their possession. So sit back and listen to this mini mix and get ready for the weekend. Two heads are better one than one, so the saying goes. It's no surprise then that the four comprising Visionquest have achieved a staggering amount since formation two years ago. Made up of Lee Curtiss , Ryan Crosson , Shaun Reeves and Seth Troxler , Visionquest is the closest underground dance music has to a supergroup. Each successful in their own right, the Detroit exports came together under the Visionquest moniker back in 2010 as producers, before evolving into a charismatic DJ group. Finally they put their name to a label earlier this [...]

In all honesty the Brodinski phenomenon has always confused us slightly, whilst he's always been a good DJ and a really nice guy we've never quite felt that his productions quite delivered up to his perceived reputation. This is not to say they were bad records, just not as big as we wanted them to be. However despite this he has continued to carve himself a distinctive techno influenced niche that has enabled him to survive the collapse of his parisian peers French Electro scene and continue to climb the DJ Social ladder reaching the recognised pinnacle - [...]

Tomorrow night sees Italian duo Lula Circus play the UK for the first time in Room 3 of London super-club Fabric, with Dyed Soundorom heading up Room 1 and dOP playing live, brightening up what would otherwise be a pretty dreary late November night. You probably think you don't know who Lula Circus is but if you've been downloading any house mixtapes this Summer/Autumn or being going out clubbing.... at all, then chances are you've heard them. More likely than not you've danced your disco socks off to Pezzner's remix of Pumpin' Groovin' Movin' (it's alllllllll about that beautiful [...]

Touted by Tiga as a "DJ's DJ" for his crate-digging habits—despite having never bought a slice of vinyl in his life—French DJ and producer Brodinski has built his craft upon a broad bed of tastes. Over the last ten years the self-confessed internet junkie has been feeding off everything from hip hop and rap to techno, minimal and bass—a musical eclecticism that has invariably been proven in his productions and genre-busting live shows. "Bad Runner" jump-started the buzz around his studio work and laid out their electro foundations, a sound that has since adopted more techno sensibilities on records for [...]
One of the biggest name's in contemporary dance music stars in the next episode of one of the world's biggest clubs' compilation series. I may as well post about Madonna or Tom Jones or something. I've sold out. The dream is over. KFC sponsor my underwear. When the seagulls follow the trawler... Luckily, one quarter of Visionquest (Shaun Reeves) has cooked up a tasty podcast to whet your whistle. And when I say tasty, I'm talking a real gourmet feast with all the small forks and stuff. Shaun Reeves [...]
