Fang Island (@fangisland) headlined one of the best shows I've seen all year, a mixture of intense math rock, progressive guitar rock, and pop that never let up. With brilliant harmonies, guitar hero riffs, and the energy of a fusion reactor, Fang Island  easily makes my list of must-see live acts. My love affair with Sargent House continues with one of the latest additions to its roster, Adebisi Shank .  Like most of the label's acts the Ireland three-piece is hard to categorize, but combine Fang Island's grandiosity and Tera Melos' eccentricity and you're almost there.  These guys are well-versed in the ways of experimental rock but it takes some true champs to make this kind of music accessible.  Sure, it's a bit weird, but you'll find yourself oddly hooked to Adebisi's quirky audio manipulations and face-melting guitar riffs.
