Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape posted a video interview regarding his band's upcoming US tour plans. The precocious young interviewer goes for the tough questions, asking if the band should just give up, since they're so old. The band most recently put out Putting Music In Its Place , a box set collecting their first five albums, and will be touring the west coast with Cobra Skulls and Nothington later this month.

At the risk of becoming a Maribou State bulletin board, it has come to my attention that quixotic newcomer MAO has reimagined the titular track from the shit-hot gentlemen duo Maribou State's new EP 'Olivia'. There's not a great deal of information about this guy MAO (even his Facebook page was a bugger to find), but I think his efforts speak for themselves. Fat Wreck Chords has announced that they will be releasing a box set of NOFX 7"s, titled 126 Inches of NOFX: Singles Collection , containing 18 of the band's classic releases. The set will include some long out-of-print items, such as Don't Call Me White , Louise & Liza , Timmy the Turtle , and more. San Francisco's Dead To Me have released a music video for the track, "The Hand with Inherited Rings". The song comes from their 2011 release, Moscow Penny Ante . Against Me! San Francisco, CA's Dead to Me will be kick starting their European tour with an acoustic performance January 15 at the Ramones Museum in Berlin, Germany. So far the duo have covered Bruce Springsteen , The Descendents , Billy Bragg , Dan Bern, Archers of Loaf , Neil Young , Jackson Browne, The Jam , The Replacements , and Maps. Dead to Me have confirmed a ton of non-North American tour dates over the coming months besides their previously announced Australian tour . The Real McKenzies will be releasing a new full-length in 2012, Fat Wreck Chords has announced. The album, titled Westwinds , is due out March 27th, 2012, and will follow up 2010's acoustic album Shine Not Burn . As a contrast to that album, Westwinds will be a return to the band's electric sound. In addition, the band has a lengthy European tour booked through February.

Fat Wreck Chords recently reissued Lagwagon 's first five albums Duh , Trashed , Hoss , Double Plaidinum and Lagwagon with remastered songs, a ton of outtakes and demos, and rediscovered photos.
