Brooklyn rockers Caveman have themselves a new home: According to an issued press release, the band recently signed to Fat Possum, joining a roster that already includes The Walkmen, Youth Lagoon, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. To kick off their relationship, the label will re-release Caveman's debut LP, Coco Beware , on March 27th. The album was first released back in November on the group's own Magic Man! label. Behind the Magnolia Curtain , the excellent 1981 debut LP from Memphis psychobilly act Tav Falco's Panther Burns , has been reissued by Fat Possum and will be out next week. The reissue also includes the 4 track "Blow Your Top" EP, which was originally released in 1982. We have really enjoyed Unknown Mortal Orchetra's self-titled debut album this year. It would probably be towards the top of the most played. They just released a video for their song Bicycle . The video features an attractive blonde girl going crazy on the world around her and being an all-around badass doing it. I guess blondes do have all of the fun. Their self-titled album is out now via Fat Possum. (via Spin )
