The video for the Swedish duo First Aid Kit 's latest single " Wolf " stands at an uncanny crossroads between Where The Wild Things Go, the Blair Witch Project and Nikki and The Dove's psychedelic imagery. Their extremely folksy music which harks back to the most infamous folk classic definitely gains in potency thanks to the eye-catching trait of this video.
First Aid Kit are really starting to amek a name for themselves these days. It seems like just yesterday we wrote about them in our short lived "World Tour" segment and now they're all grown up and on their second album which has received great reviews for the duo's harmonies and folk-influenced songwriting. 'Wolf' was a bonus track off First Aid Kit 's second album 'The Lion's Roar' released back in January , and now it's getting its own proper single release. The sister describe the song like this: 'Wolf' is about our destruction of the plant. But it is also about finding the animal within you. First Aid Kit have shared the Johan Söderberg-directed video for Wolf , the next single from the Swedish duo's excellent sophomore record The Lion's Roar . While performing in Paris on July 2nd, Jack White was joined by First Aid Kit for a beautiful rendition of the White Blood Cells track, " We're Going To Be Friends ."
