We're here! Another Tuesday and another Stoney Chart. Each week see's a different Stoney Roads writer share 10 tracks that they have been listening too throughout the week, new or old. If you have missed either of the first 2 weeks charts I seriously recommend you check them out! Week 1: Kish's Chart and Week 2: Sandro's Chart were full of awesome music. Toro Y Moi's "Say That" takes the cake as my favorite but there’s 19 other gems [...]
Sunday Morning Medicine is a feature from Dancing Astronaut dedicated to the mellower side of electronic music. We bring you our favorite therapeutic selections — old and new — in an attempt to alleviate the agonizing effects of a long weekend of partying. This week’s SMM features an eclectic mix of downtempo, deep house and disco favorites. We start off with Sweden’s rising bliss-house stars Monitor 66 with their new release “Follow You.” Then move into a Thyladomid take on the Chris Isaak's classic “Wicked Game.” We have yet another Flight Facilities masterpiece, this time a remix for Miike [...]

So, another year to add to the annals. How does one sum up 2012 in a few sentences? Well, it was like everyone had rented a copy of "Inception" from Blockbusters, since the credo seemed to be "we need to go deeper". There were still was a lot of rummaging around in the early history of modern dance music, but the biggest shoulder pads all but disappeared when the nu disco wave shifted focus from continental European early 80's italo to the later 80's and early 90's American (or at least Anglo-Saxon) house. The neon colours disappeared into the [...]

It's been some time since a new mix of our very own appeared on Beats And Pieces 2.0 (Check last year's 'URBAN ACID' here ), but having been feeling very happy owing to a birthday, new job and the upcoming festival season I decided it was high time that one did. 'DANCEFLOOR SMILES' is here and its aims are conveyed in its title - this is music to dance to and music to smack a massive grin on your face. Predominantly composed of house and disco, the mix features plenty of melody, a good smattering of [...]

Half of the NBA finals is etched in stone. The Spurs suffered a monumental collapse or were the Thunder THAT good? The mighty three have to get their game figured out this weekend. It would be poetic justice to have them fail after all the broken promises of having more than one championship delivered to Miami. My attention will be focused to game seven and the boxing match of Manny Pacquiáo vs Timothy Bradley. It might be a crapshoot, but I don't think the judges will let Manny lose if it goes the full ten rounds. The [...]

![Flight Facilities – With You (Ft. Grovesnor) [Music Video]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4270303_lg.jpg)
When it comes to consistent quality music output, you can rely on Australian dance troubadours Flight Facilities to bat 100. Fusing house, funk and disco sensibilities, the group has left listeners foaming at the mouth for more with each consecutive single. Teaming up with former Hot Chip touring member Grovesnor (himself, a prodigiously talented multi-instrumentalist, in his own right) on their latest release, "With You," the Aussies provide nothing less than the perfect summer anthem. See (or rather, hear) what the fuss is all about by streaming the remix EP below and watch the anime-inspired music [...]
This one might be tough to beat today. The Australian based production duo gave the world a teaser of "With You" a few days ago, and today they've dropped off the full package. Featuring glitchy, synthed-out production accompanied by vocals from the drummer of Hot Chip, "With You" is smooth listening from start to finish. Dominant artwork too. Tweet

It's time to fly high again. Flight Facilities are back in action with their third original track "With You", another slice of disco-pop goodness - a must-have for your summer playlist. This time featuring the vocals of Grosvenor, aka former Hot Chip drummer Rob Smoughton. On remix duties we have David August, Danny Daze, and Leeds based duo MAM, aka Miguel Campbell and Matt Hughes. Great stuff! You can now watch their brand new animated video of "With You", inspired by Daft Punk's "Interstella 55553. Can we have the album now, please? [...]

The ever popular disco duo Flight Facilities have teased us with a short video of their next single "With You" featuring Hot Chip drummer Grovesnor . Stepping away from the lushness of "Crave You" and "Foreign Language" the new single is a lean towards a slightly more brisk dance tune then. With the ever-growing celebrity status of the two come some equally interesting names on the remixes with Danny Daze , MAM and David August all putting in their [...]

Artwork: Yannis Dragasakis La.Ga.Sta. offered its services to many weary travellers once more this year. By “following rivers” they drove “through the green” and found themselves in “English Riviera” only to come back again to our station for another refill. Taking a Friday drive down this year’s memory lane, we think back on our numerous stops including among others: Our after-hours, absolutely wicked dj set in the VIP room of Melt! Festival. We might have missed Cut Copy’s performance but we certainly had a blast. Shout out to T.E.E.D., Azari & III, [...]

I am suffering end of year blues. No, I think I am suffering severe post-holiday blues. Going back to work this week after three weeks in Thailand has not helped this. Making a list of my favourite songs of the year has helped this marginally - trawling my ipod and listening to so much amazing music - but somehow made it worse too. How the fuck am I supposed to narrow this year down to ten songs, so overwhelming, what happened to the year, who am i, where am i, why am i sitting at a desk at work, what [...]

Flight Facilities y Giselle [...]

There were too many to choose from, but I narrowed it down to 50. There's a lot of different kinds of music here, but it still all comes together to recap my favorite songs from a very fulfilling year. Stay tuned for Bear Schwartz's favorites later this week.
