Australian Nu-Disco veterans Flight Facilities have dropped their second new track in the past twelve months. This time it’s a laid back stormer titled I Didn’t Believe featuring one of our favourite singers, fellow Australian Elizabeth Rose . Prepare for some slick Disco vibes. I Didn’t Believe has been a work-in-progress since 2010, being the first track they wrote after the awesome Crave You , but it took Rose’s vocals to set the icing on the cake. Five minutes of playful Funk with a summery outlook. Deep and soulful [...]
Flight Facilities long-awaited single titled "I Didn't Believe" is finally out on soundcloud! Featuring the vocals of Aussie-songstress Elizabeth Rose, this song simply oozes pure, retro-awesomeness! I wasn't alive when 70s disco was around, but I'm fairly sure it probably sounded just like this! Although guys like Daft Punk are now getting credit for bringing back the "humanity" in electronic music, guys like FF have been doing it for years! And it certainly shows in their latest single! You can buy it today in North America/UK via Glassnote Entertainment and worldwide tomorrow via Future Classic!

Flight Facilities keep us moving with their new single "I Didn't Believe," featuring, fellow Australian and buzzworthy electro pop producer, Elizabeth Rose. The song drops offical today (May 7th) in the US via Future Classic / Glassnote . Groove to the track below and check out the duo on tour this summer if you can. We have a good news for you... Flight Facilities are back with a new song! The 2 guys have been very busy, with their tour, their mixtapes for triple J... I'm a big fan of Flight Facilities but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with this song: with "With You" and "Clair de Lune", they took another direction, different from their disco sound. I expected that "I Didn't Believe" would sound different too, but it's going back to the style of "Foreign Language". Don't get me wrong: "I Didn't Believe" is still a great disco song. [...]

Australian-based duo Philosophy Of Sound has just dropped a new remix of Flight Facilities's superb "Clair De Lune." It has been while since we heard something new from POS and we couldn't let pass the opportunity to show them some love for this work. We have previously posted some of their original material and also we've also interviewed them, read it here . POS brings to the original an interesting synthesized progression, reinventing and changing the order of the vocal. While the sounds keep rolling along the player, you'll feel more involved, specially for the amplitude felt [...]

This week Australian duo Flight Facilities dropped their last installment of "triple j Mix Up Exclusives." This time we're going to listen to a bunch of epic modern classics released between 2002-2012. This one might be our favorite mix of all. Maybe because we're more familiarized with these tracks, and it has being played on repeat for the last couple days. Read below what Flight Facilities have to say about this mix, and just in case you haven't already, download the previous mixes,. Enjoy...! Flight Facilites says: "This is the final installment [...]

Flight Facilities shared the last mixtapes of their series for the Australian radio Triple J, for the period 2002 to 2012! They describe this mix as a little bit different from the previous ones, as it is "the decade that turned them into what they are now", and call it their dance music bible. Actually, it could become mine too, as it is also the period during which I began to listen to a lot of music, and most of these songs are classics to me. I'm sure it will be the same for many of you! [...]

Flight Facilities keep on publishing songs from their Triple J mix, with this bootleg, from the mix covering 1992 to 2002 . They used 3 tracks for it: Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity", Notorious BIG's "Hypnotize" and The Fugees" Killing Me Softly" (for the drums). The result is really good, and is downloadable for free. They will reveal the last mixtape from this series this month, as well as a new song... Exciting! Do you like it? If so, follow our Facebook page to keep up to date with our newest posts!

Due to popular demand, Flight Facilities have been kind enough to upload their mash-up between Les Rythmes Digitales' remix of Cassius' "Feeling For You" and Outkast's "Rosa Parks." Featured in their 902s mix they posted not too long ago, this brief bootleg encapsulates the sounds from the latter part of this period while giving listeners a taste of the phenomenal tunes they were able to incorporate within their recent mix. Although we're not the biggest fans of mash-ups because of their inherent chessiness, this one manages to separate itself from the pack due to its context and the [...]

Australian duo Flight Facilities have been unstoppable lately! They keep delivering quality music and more important of all, they have been supporting other producers by including their edits in their mixtapes. I'm talking about Tim Fuchs' edit of David Bowie's "Golden Years" (...listen/download here...) and Rocco Raimundo's edit for Lou Reed's "Walk On The Wild Side" (...listen/download here...) . About two weeks ago they also gave away a great edit of Walter Murphy's "A Fifth Of Beethoven" (...listen/download here...) . Today we're glad to share with you another freebie! This time the duo is [...]

Here we go for another time travel on Flight Facilities Airlines! Just like their previous mix, the Australian duo is back with another spectacular set full of golden tracks. Again, their mix features samples of major events in history, original songs used to make the edits, modern day songs that used the samples, unlisted cuts of other songs that the duo snuck in, and everything is chronologically ordered between 1982 and 1992. We don't know how long they took to make this piece, but it totally deserves your attention and love. If you want to know more about this [...]

Newcomers Zebra Safari , in addition to having an awesome name, have caught our attention with their unique brand of downtempo yet energetic productions. The Stockholm duo just sent their newest track Never our way, featuring vocals from Goofy Mane, and we were immediately captivated by the relaxed, passionate vibe. The only downside is the brevity of the track which comes in at just under three minutes, but it's an enjoyable cut regardless, and just leaves us wanting to hear more. Grab the download below and keep an ear out for more from them soon! [...]

Flight Facilities brings it every time and this time they did it in a soothing tender tune that features guest vocalist Christine Hoberg. Side note: I tried to contact Christine about four years ago as I stumbled onto her myspace page and thought she had such a unique presence. I never did hear back from her but I'm happy to hear her voice set to such a wonderful electronic atmospheric track. Flight Facilities - Clair De Lune (ft. Christine Hoberg)

Did you like the latest single from Flight Facilities , "Clair de Lune"? American producer Them Jeans made a nice "chill house" edit of the song, remaining close to the original, but a bit more groovy. If you like it, check out the Soundcloud page of Them Jeans! Flight Facilities' "Clair De Lune"...one of my favorite originals from 2012. I love the track so much that every time I see that someone has remixed it, I tend to get all nauseous and begin to vomit uncontrollably. But even in this state, I managed to muster up the strength to listen to Them Jeans ' reinterpretation of the my beloved song on soundcloud today...and I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised. Without ruining its integrity, Them Jeans smartly builds upon the original by just doing enough; never taking the track into the realm of unnecessary alterations and additions. [...]
