Last year, the filmmaker Khalil Joseph made a mesmerizing short film for Until The Quiet Comes , the Flying Lotus album, which made a better case for the LP than most music videos. Now, Joseph and FlyLo have teamed up again, as FlyLo has scored Wildcat , a haunting, impressionist seven-minute short film from Joseph. The dialogue-free Wildcat is a series of spare and haunting images of the town of Grayson, Oklahoma and the little-known African-American rodeo there. Mac Miller unexepectedly teams up with intelligent beat music scene pioneer  Flying Lotus for an incredible new track "S.D.S." , complete with brand new visuals. The offbeat mildly weird track from Mac Miller gets a fittingly weird video showing Mac in Pajamas and surrounded by interesting characters. This sounds so far different then his older more predicatble tracks. Loving the bold shift, and hope to see him do more stuff with Fly Lo. This song is now available through iTunes. Enjoy! Captain Murphy aka Flying Lotus's twisted MC Doppleganger released his first official video for The Killing Joke off the Duality mixtape that dropped late last year. The video features a ghostly hooded figure with crazy hypno-eyes stalking a girl in the woods. The video was shot and created by Suns (Steve Cutler // Mark Corless) as a fan video and flylo liked it so much he made it the official version.

Earl x Coachella feat.  Flying Lotus, Domo Genesis, Tyler The Creator & Vince Staples aka A Tumblr All-Star lineup. The punk rock energy that shadows Odd Future shows isn't apparent, far more chilled. New material is also performed.  It's still death to live streams.  

Earl Sweatshirt brought Tyler, the Creator out on stage during his set at some music festival this past weekend. The Golf Wang crew chief comes on stage for Earl's most recent single, "Whoa," which gets going around 12:25. We saw Odd Future's Earl Sweatshirt at SXSW back in March, and he made his Coachella debut on Friday night sporting tie-dye and a bucket hat. Flying Lotus (aka Captain Murphy ) DJ'd, and the set included cameos from Earl's collaborators Domo Genesis , Vince Staples, and Tyler, The Creator . Azizi Gibson 's " Ghost in the Shell " layers rapid lyricism over a mellowed out wavy instrumental. It really captures the essence of LA Hip Hop. First time I heard this track, I could draw similarities to AK from The UnderAchievers which is interesting because they are labelmates but have no relation for this track. [...]

In his new video for "The Killing Joke", Captain Murphy / Flying Lotus reverts back to his enigmatic beginnings, to a time when his identity was entirely speculation. Immersed in a dark, creepy atmosphere and tone, the video focuses on a white-eyed hooded figure interspersed with random footage.
