Flying Lotus's musical productions are bizarre, inventive, dreamlike works, so it's fitting that the video for "Tiny Tortures" (from FlyLo's fantastic recent Until The Quiet Comes ) matches the music in all those departments. Directed by David Lewandowski and starring the always-creepy Elijah Wood, the clip brings together the amorphous and beautiful song with cyborg-nightmare visuals worthy of Cronenberg. Check it out. FlyingLotus s'est clairement bien fait plaisir pour le clip de « Tiny Tortures « , David Lenandowski à la réalisation avec en special guest Elijah Wood . Un clip prenant qui ne risque pas d'être oublié de si tôt, bien au contraire. La collab' Lenandowski x Lotus est une bénédiction au niveau de l'ambiance général. After the Captain Murphy news from this morning, you'd think Flying Lotus would be laying low, but he actually ups the ante with this new David Lenandowsky-directed, Elijah Wood-featured clip from Until the Quiet Comes . The story weaved in this video is as surreal as it is captivating; something you'll definitely get wrapped up in for three and a half minutes.

In the first instance of the new video for Flying Lotus' "Tiny Tortures" we see Elijah wood lying disconsolate on his bed, and I was reminded of the series premiere of Wood's current vehicle Wilfred . However, whereas that TV show would then go on to show Wood cracking wise with a man in a dog suit, the video for "Tiny Tortures" unsurprisingly takes a different route. When Flying Lotus isn't spitting ridiculous rhymes as Captain Murphy , he's still, you know, Flying Lotus. And that means he's still doing shit for his latest album, the fantastic  Until The Quiet Comes . This includes, of course, new music videos, like this one for standout track "Tiny Tortures". Direcetor David Lenandowsky really put his foot into this one, what with its subtle-turned-jaw-dropping beauty and killer lil' touches. Also, anything Elijah Wood is an instant win. Watch it below.

With support from the Red Bull Music Academy and inspiration from Kubrick's  2001: A Space Odyssey , Flying Lotus has created Layer 3, a stunning, avant-garde stage setup. The project derives its name from its tri-layered organization, with a front transparent screen, an intermediate space for FlyLo to perform, and a back transparent screen. Psychedelic and cosmic imagery, or "epiphanies" as FlyLo calls them, pervade the paralleling visualizers. The cumulative experience is quite breathtaking.
