Montreal lyrical folk rocker Charlotte Cornfield spent the fall of 2010 holed up in a Toronto studio shedding blood, sweat and tears over her first full length record, a true labour of love entitled Two Horses. The album, a 10-song conceptual piece on the theme of love gone awry, reflects the duality of Cornfield's musical influences: the deep lyricism and raw emotion of Mitchell, Dylan, and Young, mixed with the intense energy and hookiness of late-70's New York rock and roll.
