Foster The People have had a  hell of a year, and just when you thought that they were going to take a quick breather before the start of 2012, they let loose a video for "Don't Stop (Color On The Walls)." It features Mark Foster of the band and actress Gabourey Sidibe of Precious fame pulling off some Bonnie and Clyde stunts, and like most of their videos, it gets a little quirky. According to their website, you can watch the video in 3D if you have a Nintendo 3DS. Oooh, technology.

Foster the People have sold 540,361 copies, and counting, of their debut album "Torches." And they still stole my car to make this video.

Foster the People may have dropped off a lot of people's radar, but the band is continuously attempting to keep the hype train moving. Today, the Los Angeles-based trio let loose the visuals for the track "Don't Stop (Color On The Walls)." In the video, Foster the People frontman Mark Foster and actress Gabourey Sidibe are on the run from the police after stealing a ton of cash, and what better way to amp up the classic cop and robber chase scene than to have everything explode in colourful waves of paint? Foster The People release the fun quirky visuals for their latest single "Don't Stop (Color On The Walls)" which is also featured on the collectives debut ' Torches .' We'll hold off on the Strange cameo statement as you can see for yourself above.

Love surfaces in the strangest of places, as evidenced by Foster The People's "Don't Stop (Color On The Walls)" video. The Daniels-directed clip stars Precious actress Gabourey Sidibe as a driving student who lets Mark Foster into her car, thinking he's her instructor. Turns out he's just some heist-pulling Joe with a briefcase full of cash. Gabourey decks him in the face as the two tear off into the Hollywood Hills, with FTP members Mark Pontius and Cubbie Fink, here playing cops, hot on their trail. Horns are cool again and I'm very stoked on that. You've got Kenny G making an appearance with Foster The People on SNL a few weeks ago, St. Lucia whipping out the brass during their CMJ shows and now, to solidify the movement, a killer sax solo on M832s phenomenal Fallon performance of "Midnight City" last night. Next month, Brooklyn-by-way-of-New-Jersey indie rock outfit Miracles of Modern Science will further evolve their "orchestral space pop" sound with the release of their new LP,  Dog Year . In the lead up to that record ,  the band has unveiled  a stripped down cover of Foster The People's uber hit "Pumped Up Kicks". Their rendition is decidedly no-frills, seeing the band do away with their normal intricacy in favor of a more folksy, jam band vibe, and a down-home, spontaneous energy.
