Bloum is a young group from around Paris, made up of two acoustic/electronic musicians and two visual artists. The band produces electro creations, influenced by artists like Four Tet, Burial , XXYYXX , Pachanga Boys , Nicolas Jaar ... right up to Magic Malik . They contacted me to showcase their work. This tune finds the producer incorporating some house and jazz with his electronic sounds, and by doing that he created a rich music escape. Streaming above is a track electronic music producer Four Tet recently released on his SoundCloud page . Though the title is "128 Harps," the track starts off with what sounds like the rattling of 128 tambourines. It's quite the sound, but that's always you can always expect from this guy: A solid tune with unique production. I'm a bit surprised at the speed this guy is throwing vocal samples out on this track, too. That hasn't exactly been his style as of late, but he manages to incorporate a pretty energetic element into what's an otherwise relaxed atmosphere.
