On stage at Bush Hall tonight (14th February), Frank Carter declared that he's "never been this f*cking happy in his life", speaking of new musical project Pure Love. Pure Love - which sees Carter joined by Jim Carroll of The Hope Conspiracy and Suicide File fame - were playing their first ever live show when the frontman announced it as "the new era of Frank Carter." Pure Love , the new project from Frank Carter of Gallows and Jimmy Carroll of the The Hope Conspiracy and the Suicide File are set to begin recording their debut album with Foo Fighters/Pixies producer Gil Norton. The band has completed pre-production and will be recording in Brooklyn, New York. Plans are for the record to drop in late summer via Vertigo Records . Gallows have announced details of their new forthcoming EP, ' Birth Is Death '. Due out December 5, the new EP is set to feature four track and will be the first release with new frontman Wade MacNeil . The band's former frontman, Frank Carter , left the band earlier this year. Gallows have released the first song featuring new frontman Wade MacNeil . The band have made the new track, titled " True Colours ", available to download for free from Musicglue.net/Gallows . This is the band's first release following the departure of founding member and frontmant Frank Carter . The band replaced Carter with former Alexisonfire guitarist MacNeil a couple months ago. Yesterday Gallows released their first post-Frank music - a 40-second blast of punk fury going by the name of 'True Colours'. We'll say this much - the band certainly weren't exaggerating when they said the new music they were recording was "the angriest music [they've] ever recorded"....
