Frank Ocean  put on an incredible performance this Thursday, July 26th, at Terminal 5 in NYC. Usually, the venue itself bums me out because a lot of times sound gets swallowed, although I have had some wonderful experiences there (namely  Animal Collective   and  A-Trak ). Despite this, though, Frank Ocean conquered all doubts. Ocean chose perhaps the classiest approach to his show; no opener, on at 9:00pm and not a minute after. His voice was, quite literally, [...]

Frank Ocean performed last night at Los Angeles' Wiltern in support of his CoS Top Star-earning debut, channel ORANGE . Throughout the set, Ocean offered a couple of surprises with his own sultry cover of Prince's "When You Were Mine" (off 19802s Dirty Mind ) and a guest appearance from  Earl Sweatshirt  on "Super Rich Kids". During his tour stop in Los Angeles last night, Frank Ocean brought out his OFWGKTA buddy Earl Sweatshirt to perform Channel Orange highlight "Super Rich Kids". And to say the crowd was delighted would be a massive understatement. Seriously, just listen to everyone collective lose their sh*t . The footage below, but I want to also note that Ocean almost topped the charts based on his iTunes sales of Channel Orange alone. Clap for the young man, will ya? [ via ]
