Why is it when you hear an artist on the radio it's a lot more satisfying than hearing them on your iPhone or whatever? That very thing happened to me today when I heard Frank Ocean over the music I was listening to at work. It was only briefly as the track in question was "No Church In The Wild" from The Throne but hearing his smooth vocals was a highlight in an otherwise boring Monday. So, with that in mind this new snippet is even more welcome. Brand new and uploaded by the crooner himself, [...]
Watch Frank Ocean sing a song he (presumably) just wrote, at home. It's called "Summer Remains" and it's probably safe to assume, a fleshier version of this song will make its way onto Ocean's forthcoming debut album (it was supposed to be due this Spring/Summer, but that's unlikely now). Watch the striped down, candid performance below: Continue reading: Frank Ocean Plays New Song "Summer Remains" at Home Read more articles like " Frank Ocean Plays New Song "Summer Remains" at Home " on [...]
Frank Ocean took to his Tumblr to post a demo of a new song over the weekend. Here's Frank, for some context: just at home fuckin around, no judging. Too late! No, it's good, even if it's just a sketch; a Steve Wonder-esque rumination about a doomed relationship. Watch it below. Read More...

Frank Ocean is a new kind of pop star. This weekend, he uploaded a screenshot of the lyrics to a song he's been working on before playing a surprisingly intimate rendition of the song from his home, forgotten lyrics and other missteps left intact. The track is likely entitled "Summer Remains," and is really good. The personal way this is coming out actually does help personify Ocean; he's startlingly talented and since the release of Nostalgia, ULTRA has used the Internet to create a feeling of honest transparency that most artists have not achieved.
It's not really clear when Frank Ocean will release his debut on Def Jam Records, but it is clear that he's working on new material. That's particularly evident thanks to his home studio footage of him performing a track that's either called "Summer Remains" or "It Ain't Natural". He posted the video to his Tumblr account over the weekend with the following note, "just at home fuckin around, no judging." No judging here, Frank, because this sounds pretty damn good.
During his performance last night at Coachella's second weekend, Odd Future soul crooner Frank Ocean not only covered Lauryn Hill's "Tell Him" and performed a fantastic live rendition of his track "American Wedding," but he also premiered a brand new track from his forthcoming debut LP. The song is rumoured to be titled "Forrest Gump," and given how many times he says that during the song it is most likely true. Check it out above, and after the jump you can watch Ocean's onstage renditions of Lauryn Hill's "Tell Me" and his own track "American Wedding" (via [...]
Frank Ocean switched things up for week two of Coachella, deviating from that set to play a new one called "Forrest Gump" as well as cover Lauryn Hill's " Tell Him ." Watch 'em below. Read More...

Some technical problems staining Frank Ocean 's performance last week at Coachella , but it sounds like he's found his stride this week. He tweeted, "it would be this week that things go well that they don't stream. hahaha." We may not be able to stream the whole performance, but thanks to Karen Civil we've got this clip of the Odd Future affiliate debuting a new song last night. No title or info on the cut yet, but check it out below.
Watch the video for Frank Ocean 's newly mixed and re-titled "Thinkin Bout You" . There's little doubt that "Thinkin Bout You" (formerly "Thinking About You"), which has been floating around for a while now, is one of Frank Ocean 's best tracks. Despite everybody loving it though, it wasn't intended to be released by him but by Bridget Kelly . Now, with Ocean's lead album reportedly in the works and expected this year (hopefully soon!), it's been revealed that it'll be the first single to come [...]

Si, la canción de Frank Ocean, "Thinking about you" ya tenía vídeo. No obstante, ayer presentaban uno nuevo, dirigido en este caso por Def Jam . Zombies, médicos y algun que otro meteorito.
Lately Frank Ocean’s old-school demos as Lonny Breaux have been surfacing, so we can forgive you if it’s been a while since you thought about his newer material, but now dude’s got a great new video for his fantastic 2011 single “Thinking About You.” We love how Ocean’s fairly straightforward song translates into a dramatic, moving story about love, healing, and sacrifice that operates on many dimensions. Check it out. Continue reading: Video: Frank Ocean - "Thinking About You" Read more articles like " Video: Frank [...]

HOLD THE PHONE. Coachella has had me in such a world-wind I totally missed this shit. Island Def Jam just released the video for Frank Ocean 's "Thinking About You" directed by the High Five Collective . Frank Ocean's demo version of the song was originally leaked last year, only to be leaked again as up updated re-mastered version in March. Now we have a final version of the song and an official video to accompany it! The video is somewhat odd, but that's to be expected. I am not going to [...]
So wet out on the streets of nodnoL town that I feel as if I were dropped in the ocean. Desk. Peppermint tea. The FRANK OCEAN 's new video, THINKING ABOUT YOU . Which explores the dreams of a sick girl, how I'll feel post this dry-up sess, featuring a few primitive zombie-looking peeps.

Fresh off Frank Ocean's blah Coachella performance [ here ], Def Jam releases an unofficial version which is now the official video for his track "Thinking About You." Really happy that High5Collective 's work is being getting more shine.

I know what you're thinking. "Didn't I see a video for this a few months ago?" High5Collective did release visuals for Frank Ocean 's "Thinking About You" back in September, but now Def Jam is now officially and legitimately releasing the video. It's not easy to follow, but it's filled with zombies(?), Frank Ocean as a doctor, and a very sick little girl. Watch it below and see what you think.

Man, Coachella looked really awesome this year. If you were lucky to attend or if you weren't but watched the live streams, you might of caught Frank Ocean performing. He only performed a few songs with his set just over a half hour, but the crowd fucking loved him. You can still tell Ocean is working on stage performance and nerves since at some points his voice was a little shaky. But Ocean still killed it overall and I expect his performances to get better and better. Check out his performance with [...]
