It could be argued that no artist has had a better year than that of Frank Ocean . He has garnered both critical and mainstream praise with his debut solo album Channel Orange , drew comparisons to all-time greats such as Stevie Wonder, and, recently, was nominated for 6 Grammy's. So when he dares to put his take on the Radiohead classic "Fake Plastic Trees", there is no doubt it will be good. Listen/watch below.

Frank Ocean 's been known to throw some choice covers into his setlists over the past year. They have included some of his favorite cuts from Sade and Prince —both of which need to be thrown down in a studio—and now we can add Radiohead to the list. During a show last week, the Odd Future crooner led into Channel Orange "closer" "Voodoo" with a brief but beautiful cover of "Fake Plastic Trees". Frank Ocean has had one hell of a year and he's set to carry it on into 2013 and beyond. At a recent New York event for Spotify the crooner took on Radiohead 's 1995 classic " Fake Plastic Trees " from their album The Bends . Some fan shot footage from the event has appeared online including a brief video of the cover. Check it out above and let us know what you think.

Jonas Brothers apparently studied Kelly Clarkson 's tour playbook and are now doing a bunch of cover songs at their live shows. On Tuesday (November 28) they turned out an acoustic rendition of Rihanna 's "Diamonds" and a mash-up of fun . Not sure how I missed this when it dropped in July. Probably because of the ginormous amount of Frank Ocean remixes going around this summer.. especially Thinkin Bout You. I can claim I lost it in the shuffle.. or that I did hear but wasn’t feeling it at the time? The fact is I dig this. It’s cool. I love the DIYness about the whole operation. I love that artists completely removed from the hip hop industry are recognizing the pure talent of Frank Ocean . Britt Daniel has had many years of success in the rock world with Spoon and his new project Divine Fits recently released a great debut record. Britt and company covered the track "Lost" from channel Orange the other night in Rhoad Island. Thanks to the fan that caught this greatness.

Indie rock's latest supergroup  Divine Fits started covering Tom Petty's "You Got Lucky" at their shows, with Dan Boekner leading the charge on that one. Now, Britt Daniel takes the lead on their cover of  Frank Ocean' s "Lost", one of the more rocksteady jams off Ocean's CoS Top Star-earning  Channel Orange .  When Daniel wraps his voice around it, it sounds like it could be just another Spoon song. Divine Fits, the new Britt Daniel/Dan Boeckner/Sam Brown supergroup, have been working a few covers into their live shows recently. And at a Rhode Island show last night, they debuted a new one: Frank Ocean's Channel Orange joint " Lost ," which, unsurprisingly enough, sounds a whole hell of a lot like a Spoon song when Britt Daniel is singing it. Passion Pit   delivered a somewhat flat performance on SNL this weekend, but as it happens, the SNL stage isn't the most conducive to vibrant or electric performances (save, maybe, Frank Ocean ). The band performed two new songs off of their newest album,  Gossamer , " Take A Walk " and " Carried Away ". Frank showcases his hood rat rhyming skills in this jawn to another sensual beat he made with his peeps.  Dude doesn't have a sub-par track in his portfolio.  Frank has become one of my fav artists of all time and at the risk of sounding very shallow, I hope he never starts talking with gay guy accent.
