Yesterday was a busy day for Frank Ocean . On his Tumblr , within the span of a few hours, he posted a teaser video for something called "Channel Orange" (watch it below), out on July 17th, which was later revealed to be his first proper album. He then posted tour dates for later this summer and, finally, revealed the first single from said album, titled "Pyramids" . Rumors have been brewing as Frank Ocean posted a teaser for something he is calling "Channel Orange." The teaser was posted on his blog with very little (read: zero) explanation of what this 1:45-minute long video will become. I was just having a convo yesterday with #YSAFam artist, Eye Traveler , about how Frank Ocean missed his window to become explosively great after WTT . Now we get visuals from Frank for a track that appears to have no name. The trailer gives us a solid minute and a half of a never before heard track from Mr. Ocean and then a message at the end that simple states, "Channel Orange, 7.17.12." Frank Ocean teases a little part of new material from his side. The song that's hinted could be "Pyramids" and the video also ends with the words,  CHANNEL ORANGE 7.17.12 . Newly released information hints that Frank Ocean will embark on Channel Orange tour this coming July.

Frank Ocean has gained a lot of fans in a short space of time by uploading tracks to his Tumblr on regular occasions. He seems like the calm and collected member of Odd Future which is a nice change of pace from the hyperactive stage divers. There's also a lot of excitement building regarding new material from the crooner and today that excitement will continue to burn bright. If you were in the UK last Summer, it's hard to forget the riots that took place. Predominantly in Manchester and London but a lot of the country was affected by the actions of a minority of kids lashing out.
