FRANK OCEAN has recently shared a gorgeous, heartwarmingly delicious collection of footage for his popular track ‘Lost’ directed by FRANCISCO SORIANO. The clip caption is “summer 2012” and follows OCEAN around the globe while perfectly matching to his lyrics “Tokyo, Spain/ Lost/ Lost on a Train/ Lost.” Clambering escalators, boarding planes, recording, looking up at the pyramids, mindlessly wandering art galleries, performing, it’s exactly what should be playing through your head when listening to ‘Lost’ Sir OCEAN can [...]
Wotever happened to that SUPER RICH KIDS video ? It hiding in the same place as the ALICA / BEYONCE video for PUT A RING ON IT ? The FRANK OCEAN premieres his new music video for LOST .
For Frank Ocean 's new video for "Lost" , one of the standout tracks from his modern-day classic album channel ORANGE , is a tiny wee glimpse into his life on the road during the summer of 2012. Travelling around the world to places like Tokyo, Paris, Dubai, and more, it's a split-screen tour diary, shot on grainy 8mm film to give it that warm, summer, nostalgic feeling. Perfect timing now that Winter is fucking off, and the perfect time to revisit his [...]

Whilst we're on the subject of Valentines Day, it looks like we forgot a present that was sent to us (aka everyone) from all around lovlies - THE XX. Whilst you were off smooching your partner or attempting to pick up at some terrible Valentines Day club night or even wallowing in self-pity. The xx were busy uploading a special video for all their beloved fans who would probably give up their date for one night alone with the British triplet. The video is a [...]

If you've had a lonely, loveless Valentine's Day so far, let The xx with their sunny disposition and bright clothes cheer you up, with their cover of Beyoncé's heart wrenching "I Miss You" . The track was co-written by Beyoncé and Frank Ocean for her 2011 album 4 , but The xx are taking the track to new heights (or lows depending on your level of depression), with their barely-there atmosphere [...]

The buzz around Frank Ocean before Channel Orange was unhurried and casual, with a sense of expectancy in the wake of his debut LP “Nostalgia Ultra”, though he was essentially still only known as the emotional grounding in the “Odd Future” Collective. It was “that” Tumblr post that changed everything, as Ocean’s divulgence of sexuality two weeks before release automatically placed the record under the spotlight; it’s interpretable lyrics becoming one of the many aspects that make this record unmatched by it’s peers, innovative in a previously lyrically restrictive genre. Channel Orange [...]
Off to get me some Clerkenwell lunch now whilst the FRANK OCEAN performs a cover of the RADIOHEAD's FAKE PLASTIC TREES and a very intimate audience chats away.

When Frank Ocean released Channel Orange back in July, we gushed that "we are not listening to the ‘norm’ of r’n'b culture of clubs and drinking; instead we have been given raw emotion of how memories of life’s highly influential moments can be blissful yet at times cause torturous pain, and Channel Orange thus works, because ultimately, this is something we can all relate to." Featuring Frank shooting up a bar and a bizarre cameo from John Mayer, it's a wonderful little clip. It was directed by Nabil who has previously worked [...]
After taking over SNL last night with John Mayer , Frank Ocean has revealed the Nabil-directed video for his track "Pyramids" . Though it's not the full nine-minute album version, it makes up for it with Frank getting wasted ( Frank the tank! Frank the tank! ) at a bar, then shooting it up, and then going for a motorbike ride int he desert to an awesome strip club. Afterwards he meets up with John Mayer who soundtracks his hallucinations with light-emitting guitar licks, [...]
The FRANK OCEAN kicked off the new season of Saturday Night Live last night by performing THINKIN' BOUT YOU and PYRAMIDS . FYI that's the JOHN MAYER to the left, to the left.

In a year that's gone from one extreme to the other for SNL musical guests, with Lana Del Rey delivering one of the worst performances in the show's history (I'm not even going to link to it, it was that bad), we should be thankful that we have Frank Ocean to prop up the other end of that extreme. The musical man of the year contender made his debut appearance on SNL tonight in what might just cap off one of the best years [...]

"With a collection of memories sung with painful honesty, Frank Ocean is certainly not your typical r'n'b singer..." Frank Ocean | Channel Orange Despite last year's release of the mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra , even less than one month ago Frank Ocean would have slipped (relatively) under the radar, having had only gradual songwriting success for artists such as John Legend and Brandy. Now, his time has come, and not just because of his first major studio album Channel Orange , but perhaps because he has decided to announce his bisexuality on the [...]
One of your new faves plays one of your old faves, the FRANK OCEAN covers the PRINCE's mp3 WHEN YOU WERE MINE . Now I'm three steps closer in getting over that bi-publicity and appreciating this he-popper's perfection. Semi-fact.
Yesterday was a busy day for Frank Ocean . On his Tumblr , within the span of a few hours, he posted a teaser video for something called "Channel Orange" (watch it below), out on July 17th, which was later revealed to be his first proper album. He then posted tour dates for later this summer and, finally, revealed the first single from said album, titled "Pyramids" . The song, almost ten minutes long, is a bit of a departure from what the Odd Future [...]

Frank Ocean has the whole mysterious vibe down pat. Earlier this morning, the Odd Future -affiliated crooner posted a short snippet of a brand new song onto his Tumblr . He left no comment and from the video, we're left to guess that the new song is called "TV" and will appear on a new release entitled Channel Orange , out on July 17th. The song features layered vocals and a dark, glitchy synth in the background. The two minute snippet features, unsurprisingly for Ocean, a BMW station wagon. Listen [...]
Romain Gavras knows how to direct amazing videos, most-notably his controversial short for M.I.A. 's track "Born Free" with his ginger genocide. Clearly he either has a thing for the police, or he loves showing how awesome they can be at brutally controlling a crowd of people. No gingers in this video, but there are horses, lots of fire, an elephant (not sure if it's real or not), dudes on fire, cars on fire, fire on fire, and frickin' lazers (no sharks), but unfortunately Paris Hilton was [...]
Playing around in his homo and wanting no judgement from you, the FRANK OCEAN unleashes an unedited version of him performing SUMMER REMAINS . Raw, edgy and hard, just like you want em from the OCEAN .
Just catching up on Coachella town weekender #2 footage which includes the OCEAN hanging with the FOREST as the FRANK performed a new song entitled FOREST GUMP . Can anyone make this new album drop / leak / come into my ears asap kplzthnx ??!
Watch the video for Frank Ocean 's newly mixed and re-titled "Thinkin Bout You" . There's little doubt that "Thinkin Bout You" (formerly "Thinking About You"), which has been floating around for a while now, is one of Frank Ocean 's best tracks. Despite everybody loving it though, it wasn't intended to be released by him but by Bridget Kelly . Now, with Ocean's lead album reportedly in the works and expected this year (hopefully soon!), it's been revealed that it'll be the first single to come [...]
So wet out on the streets of nodnoL town that I feel as if I were dropped in the ocean. Desk. Peppermint tea. The FRANK OCEAN 's new video, THINKING ABOUT YOU . Which explores the dreams of a sick girl, how I'll feel post this dry-up sess, featuring a few primitive zombie-looking peeps.
