After taking over SNL last night with John Mayer , Frank Ocean has revealed the Nabil-directed video for his track "Pyramids" . Though it's not the full nine-minute album version, it makes up for it with Frank getting wasted ( Frank the tank! Frank the tank! ) at a bar, then shooting it up, and then going for a motorbike ride int he desert to an awesome strip club. Afterwards he meets up with John Mayer who soundtracks his hallucinations with light-emitting guitar licks, [...]

The FRANK OCEAN kicked off the new season of Saturday Night Live last night by performing THINKIN' BOUT YOU and PYRAMIDS . FYI that's the JOHN MAYER to the left, to the left.

In a year that's gone from one extreme to the other for SNL musical guests, with Lana Del Rey delivering one of the worst performances in the show's history (I'm not even going to link to it, it was that bad), we should be thankful that we have Frank Ocean to prop up the other end of that extreme. Yesterday was a busy day for Frank Ocean . On his Tumblr , within the span of a few hours, he posted a teaser video for something called "Channel Orange" (watch it below), out on July 17th, which was later revealed to be his first proper album. He then posted tour dates for later this summer and, finally, revealed the first single from said album, titled "Pyramids" . The song, almost ten minutes long, is a bit of a departure from what the Odd Future [...]

Frank Ocean has the whole mysterious vibe down pat. Earlier this morning, the Odd Future -affiliated crooner posted a short snippet of a brand new song onto his Tumblr . He left no comment and from the video, we're left to guess that the new song is called "TV" and will appear on a new release entitled Channel Orange , out on July 17th. The song features layered vocals and a dark, glitchy synth in the background. The two minute snippet features, unsurprisingly for Ocean, a BMW station wagon. Listen [...]

Romain Gavras knows how to direct amazing videos, most-notably his controversial short for M.I.A. 's track "Born Free" with his ginger genocide.
