Academy Award winning film composer and storied Nine Inch Nails frontman, Trent Reznor and his partner in crime, Atticus Ross, are gearing up for the release of their hotly tipped soundtrack score for David Fincher's adaption of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo . Reznor and Ross worked with Fincher last year on The Social Network , for which their superb score won an Oscar. Now their two-hour, 6-LP Dragon Tattoo score is nearly at hand. It seems the metamorphosis of We Were Promised Jetpacks is complete, or in its final stages at the very least. The band have announced that their long-awaited second album is due out on October 3rd. Earlier today Josh Ritter announced via his website the upcoming European release of the limited edition Josh Ritter & The Royal City Band: Live at the Iveagh Gardens 2 CD & DVD set. The Iveagh Gardens show took place last July 18th in Dublin, Ireland and was the first ever rock show to be played at the venue.
