The Antler's third studio album, Hospice , was a great example of a concept album. The LP told the story of an emotionally abusive relationship, explained through the analogy of a hospice worker and terminally-ill patient. The album was so chillingly beautiful and seemed incredibly sincere in its lyrics. It was one of my favorite albums and still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
