He stopped by the WGTB studio in early May to talk a little bit about his newest single , "Friends For Now." Back in April, Georgetown Student Peter Fanone (COL '15) released his new single, "Friends For Now." Peter has been writing songs since middle school and began recording while attending high school at Georgetown Prep in Bethesda, MD. Last semester, he released an EP called Dreams, Fate and Everything In Between , but for his next release he's looking forward to exploring the folkier sound he developed on "Friends For Now," inspired by his love of bands like The Avett Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel. Portland-based indie label Gnar Tapes have released a new collection of demos by Young Prisms . The San Francisco shoegaze band are revealed in a stripped back way, much rawer and the results are incredibly dreamy.
