GDP is the latest MC to rock over an A.M. Breakups ' beat and the collaboration is one of the best singles of the year. This is the first I’ve heard of the New Jersey rapper and while he may still be an unknown to most, he rhymes like an assured veteran on " Orly ." When GDP opens over A.M.’s mystical production with the line: “In theory, G’s the black Tim Leary/ free nights and weekends with Siri in the earpiece” he catches your attention right away and doesn’t let go for the rest of the song. More from Tunnel Buddies .
Truly disturbed hip hop eccentric GDP drops a new track from his SoundCloud titled "Funnel Buddies," which seems to be a raunchy track about a long line of friends with benefits. While having no-strings-attached relations isn't exactly a refreshing topic in hip hop, GDP seems to take it to a kind of hilarious and thought-provoking extreme.
"Put the kids to sleep before you knock this one."
Taken from his upcoming Tunnel Buddies EP.
New cut from two of NJ's rising MCs.
A new track from New Jersey's most vile, perverse, and unsettling rapper, GDP. The dude's lyrics, like usual, are dark, and make me wonder if he kisses his mother with that mouth. The beat here really makes the track. The refined string sections wrap around the rhythm like a snake crushing it's prey, and kinda gives GDP's evil persona a theatrical platform to stand on. The end result brings the mental image of a top hat-wearing villain who laughs maniacally as lightning strikes in the background.
Hear a song from each in this post!
I can't remember how exactly I heard of him, but I've been following New Jersey rapper GDP on SoundCloud for about a month or so now. He's seriously growing on me, and it's hard to figure out why. The dude is highly lyrical and clever. Even though the dude's latest track, "Dublin," is under two minutes, I find a new line to laugh at every time I listen. I think my current favorite has got to be "he could spit, cuz he's seen some shit. If these walls could talk, they'd probably plead the fifth." Stream [...]

The world's most underrated rapper drops a new track.

Yesterday, GDP put up a new freestyle featuring fellow SlangCorp emcee, Shape.

In terms of median per capita GDP growth, I like to think of the Philippines as Southeast Asia's underachieving half-sister. It has many of the socioeconomic factors in place to stage a middle class renaissance, but elements that range from endemic poverty, crippling economic fallout from the (US-backed) Marcos regime, and entrenched corruption have contributed to one of the widest gaps between the rich and the poor in the world. According to the CIA World Factbook , 32.9% of the population lives below the poverty line. Filipino economist Solita Collas-Monsod noted that "the number of people living in [...]

Music Videos: Dark Dark Dark - "Wild Go" - Fog swirls amongst South African mountains and some ghostly ballerinas. Creeped out yet? GDP - "Neural Circuitry" - The only things that make a good party are drugs and alcohol. The only things that ruin a good party are drugs and alcohol. Daedelus ft. Young Dad - "One and Lonely (Lost Remix)" - The Victorian seance performed by Daedelus gets updated....now televisions are present, making it a bit more modern. When [...]
"What kind of future can I possibly hope for/when every pen I write with doubles as a coke straw?" GDP is one sick motherfucker! Depending on how you look at it, he's either a modern day version of the old-school Cage (he's down with Tame One's camp) or part of a group of rappers more hardcore than Odd Future (they definitely do copious amounts of drugs). The Jersey native and Slangcorp representative just released his latest EP, Useless Eaters [...]
