Continuing to look back at the Ghosts of Jambands Past, this week’s Stormy Monday focuses on what was once a staple of the scene: the super group. Famed New Orleans bassist George Porter Jr. returns to New York City on Saturday night with his Runnin' Pardners project in tow for a performance at Hiro Ballroom , where DJ Cochon de Lait, Sherman Ewing and THOR Jam are also on the bill.
