This week, I posed my "If I Dropped By..." question to Jamie DiTringo and John BellaVia of New York based band The Golden Furs . This is what I found out during my hypothetical visits to their homes. Quirky NY Chick (QNYC): ... and brought a friend who didn't know your music, what song of yours would you play for them and why? John BellaVia (JBV): O Father! Acapella. You would play bongos and your friend can do hand [...]

Live: K-X-P, Lumerians & Girl Band at Corsica Studios, London. 1st May 2013
It’s a wonderful balmy evening in old London town; the winter finally appears to have sloped off in its soggy shoes and taken its frost-bitten arse away for a few months, so it seems like the only sensible thing to do is to go to my home away from home – Corsica Studios – for a night of rock cosmology with the mythic Lumerians and electro bandits K-X-P. The Griswolds: Concert Review & Photos!
Click to view slideshow. It was once The Griswolds' dream to headline at the Oxford Art Factory after several times supporting other bands. But it was more than a dream for their final, headlining Australian show, in their hometown, before their overseas tour — to be sold out. Out of the eleven times I've seen them, I have no doubt that this lucky eleventh time, the 3rd May, was their absolute best performance. Supporting them were Oceanics and Panama — unfortunately I didn't get a chance to catch Oceanics as they were on rather early, but [...]

Justin Timberlake confirmed for Phoenix Park this July

There's no word if Timberlake's gig will feature Jay-Z and qualify as an extension of their joint 'Legends of the Summer' tour that is set to take America by storm in the coming months, but we can always hope. Support is yet to be announced. Tickets are priced at €79.50 and will be available from Ticketmaster on Friday, 10th May at 9am. Tickets will be limited to six per buyer.
