The National Concert Hall have announced the line-up for their Summer Festival. Taking place over several dates this July and August, the festival will boast performances from the likes of Bryan Ferry , Spiritualized and Sinead O'Connor . Black Sabbath have announced a date at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on Thursday, 12th December in support of their new album. 13 will be the first Sabbath album to feature original vocalist Ozzy Osbourne since 19782s Never Say Die! and will be released in June. Birmingham songstress Laura Mvula has announced two Irish dates for late 2013. The Sing to the Moon singer will perform at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin and the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on 12th and 13th October respectively. Tickets for the Olympia are priced from €25.40, while tickets for the Waterfront start at £22.50, including booking fee. Trócaire have announced a mini festival as part of their 40th anniversary celebrations. Donal Dineen’s Parish , Rarely Seen Above Ground and the Dublin Afro-Beat Ensemble will headline TrócaireLive at the Grand Social on Saturday, 27th April. Despite suggestions to the contrary, it seems as if Blur are still very much a going concern and, to prove the point, have a pretty hefty touring schedule over the coming months. As broken by Jim Carroll this morning, the day's big gig news is that The National will be playing one of only a few European dates at Live At The Marquee in Cork on June 28th, their first Irish show since 2011 and a return visit to the city after eleven years. Tickets go on sale next week.

Having cancelled their 2012 European tour at the last minute, Death Grips make good their promise to return to Ireland on April 29th with a show at Whelan's. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday).

The architects of one of our favourite albums in the shape of Scream, Dracula, Scream! , Rocket From The Crypt are back together for a series of European shows. Luckily Ireland is on the agenda and they play the Button Factory on April 26th. The dates come ahead of their comeback album, produced by Dave Grohl.

The reunited and rejuvenated Dexys have announced a Dublin date for later in the year, their first Irish show since the Electric Picnic in September. Tickets priced €33.90 inclusive of booking fee go on-sale this Friday, 15th of February.

One of the best urban festivals on the calender, 10 Days In Dublin is set to return in 2013 - but not before a number of fundraising events to help them on their way to the €10,000 they need to ensure it gets bigger, better and remains sustainable. The first of these takes place at the Workman's Club on February 15th and features Fight Like Apes, Come On Live Long, Benny Smiles and TuJacques.
