Example has been busy over the last few months hitting up festivals and big shows including Radio City Live in Liverpool, Glastonbury, Ibiza Rocks and this years Wireless Festival. He's also been called a "bumbaclart" by Alexandra Burke and finally made up with Cher Lloyd. Whilst all this has been going on, he's also been working on producing the video to his latest single "Stay Awake". The video produced by Nero, the video filmed in London is a pretty decent video. Dancy, catchy...we like it. His album 'Playing In The Shadows' is due for [...]

AustinBrock Hey everyone, quiet a surprise to get this up on YouTube so soon after the event. I received a post on my wall on Facebook, July 1st, from my friend Edvardas Sakas regarding James Clarke producing a multi-shot video of Radiohead's Glastonbury 2011 performance, I fired a message to James to see if he would mind if I hosted it, and he was very happy for me to do so. I even provided him a link for the audio to do so when it became available :). Edited and [...]

Glastonbury Festival (24-26 June '11) // Words: Saam Das Following my participation in the judging of this year's Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition , I felt somewhat obliged to head to the festival. I'd never been to Glastonbury before and the ensuing rain/mud/intense hot weather during my first trip was quite the baptism of fire. Fellow FG writer Kieran also made his way there, and you can read his highlights of Glastonbury 2011 , if the following thesis is too [...]

Our forth day at Pilton began after a heavy rest at 3pm, Pardon My French ventured over to the Dance Village for the first of our DJ sets. This afternoon, the Boo-Dior tent was the venue for a 3hours + DJ set. Following this marathon set, we then ventured up to The Park for the second set of special guests, who had been rumoured to be anyone from Take That to The Killers, but most people knew it would be it would be the Common People from The Steel City, Pulp. Unfortunately, due to the sheer mass of the special [...]

Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News Ben Birchall, PA Photos Could it be that it's time to hang up your wellies for good? Glastonbury festival organiser Michael Eavis reckons that Europe's largest festival may be approaching the end of its shelf life, with only "three or four years" left before it comes grinding to a halt. Speaking to The Times (via NME.com ), the 75-year-old dairy farmer said, "It's on the [...]

"It's on the way out. We've probably got another three or four years... Partly it's economics, but there is a feeling that that people have seen it all before." - Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis discusses the state of the 'music festival' with The Times (via The Daily Mail ). To be fair, Eavis used only UK-based festivals as examples of those struggling, and U.S. festivals are to be selling out as fast as ever , but it might be something to think about .

The Best Festival in the World, arguably. Although we haven't met anyone who has been and disagreed. Irrelevantly, its also about the size of Bath. Anyway, Pardon My French arrived to pouring rain at the crack of dawn to go fetch a prized camping spot up near The Park (a lot more on The Park later). A few Brothers later, it led us to the first of a few visits to the infamous Stone Circle, and the seemingly new for 2011, FIREWORK DISPLAY, which was quite something... . The 'novelty' Thursday night performance (aka the [...]
The beautiful, young english singer Laura Marling performed an enchanting and captivating performance at Glastonbury 2011. Her joni mitchell-esque folk music surprisingly seems to please the gigantic crowd which you would think would be reserved for more theatrical acts. The art lies within her words which are sharp-witted and sensible, way beyond her young age of 20.
At last the sun was shining, and all I could think about is how badly I was going to burn in this unbearable heat, the summer sheer had to come out at some point though and who better to provoke such cheers then American hero Don McLean . He comes on and the first thing he says is, "I’ve got a couple of songs you may like to hear, and one really long one that you definitely will". At least he’s honest! The set is long enough for him to get the crowd on their feet this early in [...]
