To be fair, Eavis used only UK-based festivals as examples of those struggling, and U.S. festivals are to be selling out as fast as ever , but it might be something to think about .

The beautiful, young english singer Laura Marling performed an enchanting and captivating performance at Glastonbury 2011. Her joni mitchell-esque folk music surprisingly seems to please the gigantic crowd which you would think would be reserved for more theatrical acts. The art lies within her words which are sharp-witted and sensible, way beyond her young age of 20.
At last the sun was shining, and all I could think about is how badly I was going to burn in this unbearable heat, the summer sheer had to come out at some point though and who better to provoke such cheers then American hero Don McLean .
