![[MP3/LIVE] The Good Natured – "Video Voyeur" (+ recent LA shows)](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4017571_lg.jpg)
just give me what i want, don't leave me hanging til the morning light ♫ The Good Natured - Video Voyeur Try to contain your jealous rage when you hear that I got to catch The Good Natured live this week... and last week. Yeah, pretty radical. And the fact that they absolutely smashed both shows doesn't hurt either. New stand-alone single "Video Voyeur" opened their set both times, kicking things off tight and right. An audio freight heading for partyville. The trio rocked hard, with Sarah [...]
It's a mighty good Monday (if you ignore the weather): ► At the Satellite, where Chasing Kings' residency roars into its fourth week, U.K. quartet the Chevin makes its L.A. debut. That's the video for the title track from the West Yorkshire lads' 2011 EP, "Champion," above. Tonight's bonus — you also gets sets from Nightmare & the Cat and the Californian . ► Koga, featuring the solo material of Evan Koga (formerly of the band Chief), debuts at the Bootleg Theater as part of the [...]
Sarah McIntosh could easily be lumped in with female-fronted electro-pop bands such as La Roux and Ladyhawke, but the sophisticated gothic sheen on pop melodies she offers with her band the Good Natured sets her apart. Slinking between Scandinavian-like bubblegum choruses to sensually dark undertones that echo Ladytron, McIntosh (along with her brother Hamish and bandmate George Hinton) writes pop that is flirty but she is far from a novice. At only 20 years old, she already has released a third EP titled "Skeleton," which also serves as the U.S. debut for the Good Natured and a nice [...]
This Friday lineup feels like party time ... ► Party-starting electro outfit Wallpaper ought to be mighty festive tonight when they headline the El Rey Theatre — the project fronted by Ricky Reed has moved up to Epic Records from indie Boardwalk, it was announced last week. Youngblood Hawke and Speakers open. That's Wallpaper's animated video for "F*cking Best Song Everrr," above. ► Speaking of parties, Kid Sister holds forth at the Avalon. Her "Kiss & Tell" EP came out in November/ ► Har Mar Superstar [...]

UK-based The Good Natured is bringing their Gothic-inspired electro pop ballads to LA for the first time this Friday at The Echo and Monday at Bardot for the weekly series "It's A School Night." The trio, led by 20-year-old starlet Sarah McIntosh, will make sure their performance doesn't go unnoticed while here on the west coast. They kicked off their first US tour this past Monday in NYC. The high energy group shook up the crowd at last year's SXSW with McIntosh singing in the audience, crawling [...]
British pop band The Good Natured began their 2012 with an exclusive US tour in only New York and California. On this mini tour, they used Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn as their second play station. We all know Popgun does it best with their incredible selection of booking the most upcoming talents, so it was only fitting that The Good Natured played at Glasslands in NYC. Before their performance on January 17th, the three eye catching members spoke to Earmilk and gave us a deeper look into their music. Take a look. [...]

Photos by G. Sarah McIntosh of The Good Natured Hot band alert! The UK electropop band The Good Natured visited New York's Mercury Lounge on January 15, 2012. I'd never heard any of their music until they took the stage and I liked every song I heard tonight in their 8 song set. Their music is upbeat and has a great groove. Lead singer Sarah McIntosh's voice reminded me of bits of Ladytron and LaRoux. The audience was loving the show as well, especially when Sarah McIntosh performed in [...]

'Video Voyeur' by the Good Natured has been remixed by No Ceremony , a mysterious artist (and producer?) from a town that seemed to be giving out mysterious acts like candy last year (Manchester). Now it's completely different from the original (that you can watch as a previous Video of the Moment ) and I'm not sure I like it. What's your opinion? Let us know in the comments after you've listened and downloaded it below for absolutely free. The Good Natured will support the Whip [...]

About a month or so ago we posted up The Good Natured from the UK. The electro-pop trio recently joined forces with Swedish DJ Adrian Lux on the track "Alive" , which has in turn been remixed by Belgium's rising star Basto . Follow that? Check out the result of this European collaboration and be sure to add it to your party playlist.

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Two names you should immediately recognize here. The Wanted had their song Glad You Came remixed to perfection by Alex Gaudino, so I'll include that here as well. Then there's Basto... he is just way too good so I'll throw in some more of his recent fire if you missed it here to absolutely treat you all. The Wanted - Warzone (Basto! Remix) The Wanted - Glad You Came (Alex Gaudino Remix) [...]

Unlike commercial publications who in order to attract readers / hits have to feature certain artists that meet the demographic of their audience, being truly independent means we can do what we like. This is what fan journalism is about. There's no reason for us to feature the latest buzz act (hello Azealia Banks) if we don't love their music. However, if we want to feature a whole weeks worth of adoring gushing N-Robz (hello Nicola) posts we can. We could even rename our blog The Nicola Roberts Appreciation Society if we wanted to without any worries [...]

The little bird in the artwork above may be a nod to the smaller nature of the EP but don't think for a second that these mini-albums aren't serious beasts. This is some Hitchcockian Birds business with ferocious and passionate music being delivered by some of the most exciting bands breaking out right now. It was certainly an exciting year for the often under-appreciated EP format. In the increasingly saturated music world I really enjoy a well crafted EP that leaves me reaching for the repeat button instead of checking to see how [...]

Each of our writers who posted this year worked tirelessly to cover bands that normally don't appear on your FM radio stations, and in the true spirit of the season, here are their lists. All albums are linked to iTunes. To play all Soundcloud clips continuously, click on the play button in the bottom right of the screen. TOP 10 ALBUMS 10. Cut Copy - Zonoscope 9. [...]
A recurring feature of music journalism this century is the mindless prediction of who will "blow up" in the following year. This always feels a little odd coming from mainstream outlets like Rolling Stone, Spin and the BBC. A little like Fox News complaining about the "mainstream media", you think, but you are the mainstream media. If these artists are appearing in your pages, Spin Magazine -

There's going to be a party everywhere. Options are neverending and one of our Interweb friends, Swaager, will be having a "drink and drown" type of soiree at Beauty Bar tomorrow night that will feature DJ Vajra, Cobraconda and Prince Paul. Advance tickets are $20 and $30 at the door here . Stay safe and have fun. Coldplay - Every Teardrop is a Waterfall (Project 46 Remix) Miike Snow "Devil's Work" (Bailey Smalls Remix) Someone Like You - Adele - NEMnation RMX [...]
