Gorillaz mastermind Damon Albarn has been working on his opera Doctor Dee for quite some time now — Watchmen writer Alan Moore dropped out of the project , but Albarn kept going forward, and this summer we'll finally see the fruit of his musical labors. The opera will premiere at the Manchester International Festival in July, then head to the English National Opera in London. Bonus: Albarn will be performing!
