Robyn braved the bitchery of Gossip Girl to appear in a scene last night where she was the entertainer a party. Our favorite Swedish body talker donned a red dress and giant gold earrings and performed a stripped-down version of her single "Hang With Me" while Blair and Serena each frantically droned on about something or other. After reading what Tim Gunn had to say about his experience with Taylor Momsen on the set of Gossip Girl, all of my suspicions were confirmed: Taylor Momsen is just as insufferably annoying as one might expect. The concept for this video by her "band" The Pretty Reckless is, uh, swinging low on the cultural scale. It features the 17-year old starlet in various degrees of fetishistic undress... but with fire! Well, Courtney Love never was a looker. So, Momsen has that going for her.

I haven't actually heard anything of hers actively until I took a listen through this album and I do have to say it exceeded my expectations. Its a pretty edgy record with some hard rock n' roll tracks. You can tell she's really been influenced by some male rock figures such as Led Zeppelin and Nirvana. [...]
