Promo Mix: Tharin Roberts - Grenade. Genre: Minimal, Techno.
The Swedish electro pop duo Grenades For The Wall consists of song writer and producer Josef Melin and the singer Agnes Grahn. They met when they both studied at the same school but it was their love for house music and 70s soul that brought them together. They got signed to Cosmos Music Group after just one gig and are now releasing their first single "Fight your battles with me" today. Here is a Great Skies remix of the single for you listening pleasure.

"Sorry Sorry Sorry!! Everyone that was inconvenienced because of my grenade at OKC airport!!" - @ waynecoyne The new face of terrorism ( via ) What kind of dumbass packs a freaking grenade in his carry-on ... and accidentally tries to take it onto a plane? Answer: Flaming Lips singer Wayne Coyne . And he shut down an Oklahoma City airport in the process. The grenade wasn't live -- thankfully -- but according to the police report, Coyne still accidentally packed it in [...]
Filed under: News , Holy Hell Getty Images Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne is a crazy man. His latest act of weirdness? Allegedly brining a grenade (either real or fake, but definitely not live) to Oklahoma City's Will Rogers Airport last week in hopes of taking it to his final destination. If you've ever traveled before, you'll know that the TSA wouldn't be too thrilled with the prospect of said incendiary [...]

Coyne was on his way to La Jolla, CA to watch preview the musical adaptation of Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, and actually tweeted about the incident after it happend 10 days ago, saying "Sorry Sorry Sorry!! Everyone that was inconvenienced because of my [...]
The best new video in the world right now, now on YouTube. Please stop whatever you're doing and take 5 minutes out of your day to watch this.
Absolutely brilliant, quite easily one of the best videos I've seen in a long time.
So originally I was going to post this around the beginning of the new year. Then extreme laziness mind-numbing force known as "life" took over and I couldn't quite finish the task at hand. I had a arbitrary Valentine's Day date set but I quickly decided that there was no reason to post this list [...]
Cascabel photo courtesy of their Facebook page. Um, so many heavy hitters are playing this town tonight. Damien Jurado at the Neptune Theater, the madness that I already described earlier that is taking place at Neumos, Fatal Lucciano's record release party at Chop Suey and the worst, best band ever...Thunderbird Motel at the White Rabbit. However, all [...]

2011 wasn't just a great year for local full-lengths, awesome releases abounded in all formats: EPs, 72's and yes, even cassettes. In fact, Phil's favorite local release of all of 2011 was Mercy Ties and Grenades split 12". Here are 15 of our favorite local EPs, 72's and cassettes of the past year and our [...]

Listen to the EP on Spotify , on Wimp and other services. You can find the band på Facebook . Fight Your Battles With Me

Gavin DeGraw - VH1 While promoting his new album, Gavin DeGraw has been performing his new material practically everywhere. For a slight change of pace, DeGraw decided to take on someone else's song when he visited VH1 headquarters in NYC. "I had this song in my head but I've never sung it. So I've got the lyrics right here," Gavin tells the crowd playfully before he starts the number. "I'm a little nervous to perform this one." The song stuck in Gavin's head and making him nervous to perform? None other than [...]

Grenades For the Wall is a fresh new pop duo that played their debut gig in june and that has released three songs on the net this summer. Josef Melin is handling the synths, the songwriting and the production and Agnes Grahn is singing. The sound reminds me of the the early nineties, but feels more stripped and mixed with other styles. One of the three songs, "The Soundtrack of My Life", you can listen to here below; a nice electro-pop song with soul vibes, which accomplishes a lot with small means. "London Bridge" doesn't feel [...]

Got to love a great audience video! One awesome fan — to whom we bestow mad props — captured this incredible (HD!!!) footage of soulful pop sensation Bruno Mars ' set at the iTunes Festival in the UK on Thursday (July 7). After the jump, watch clips of Bruno performing "Grenade," "Marry You," "Billionaire" (minus Travie McCoy ) and more. [...]

It's not that we are particularly anti-Simon Cowell, or specifically against the music that regularly churns out of the X-Factor pop factory, but there's something intrinsically wrong with the process and the delivery. The music is perfectly aimed for it's market, almost too much so, but the removal of any sense of DIY from the 'artist' makes it's manufactured productions ugly and contrite. Grenades For The Wall deliver similar music, but the difference is that it's hand-delivered by their own craft and that makes all the difference we needed. So we bring you this very green [...]
