If you're a fan of indie music, Twitter can be a lonely place. Our favorite rappers are tweeting all day, sending ridiculous 140-character messages out to the world and giving us glimpses into their personalities, their lives, and the ridiculous shit that pops in their head at 2 in the morning when they're 8 blunts in. It's great. Indie acts, on the other hand, don't seem to get it. They're still getting PR people to handle their accounts and sending out boring ass messages like, "Cleveland, thank you for the great show. See you tomorrow, New [...]

Originally meaning a behavior or style that spreads from person to person in a culture (the non-internet version), Meme the band do not come across as simply a style passed down. Though they do make electopop [...]

21 songs of Le Miel du Mois, what the f%*k is a Monday blues? Steph is back with another installment of LMDM and it's another wonderfully eclectic blend of everything you didn't even know you loved. Stephs all-embracing approach to music is one of the reasons why LMDM has been and continue to be one of the most interesting mix tapes on any side of the globe. I don't know about you but I get bored quick fast listening to the same music or style over and over. Musical monogamy is not a concept I can get behind. [...]

Welcome to FWBA's best-of 2011. This has been such a meaningful year in music to me that it's tough to represent in one post. I'm going to be honest, this took me quite a long time.
