Skrillex setup some train tour across Canada, taking EDM music to previously uncultured regions of Canada. Maybe even the backwards regions where they want to speak French and give up free healthcare and be able to marry multiple people. Back in May we spilled details on the 'Full Flex Express' train tour that'd send Skrillex, Diplo, Pretty Lights and Grimes among others on a train tour reminiscent of the 190702s festival express. With the last stop going down tonight in Vancouver some photos and footage have popped up online [via the Peasant Noise blog] showing the clash of rather unique producers. Today, a surprising turn of events took place within the music blog circuit and the EDM community. The best live act I saw at SXSW is touring Canada by train, and he's taking Diplo and Grimes with him! By now, the fact that I love Skrillex has passed into some sort of Stereogum-infamy history, but seriously, Canadians, if you get a chance, watch this guy melt the faces of vast numbers of teenagers. A Locomotive across the great white north is certainly not how I expected an Electronic tour to go, but, well, here we are.
