Grimes' new video for “Genesis,” the second single from this year’s Visions , is a little Mortal Kombat, a tad witchy Britney Spears, and plenty awesome. " Genesis " happened to be one of our favorite songs of the past year, so the music video was certainly a treat much anticipated. There's no real narrative here; best to think of it as a headlong plunge into Grimes' mall-mystic aesthetic. Flaming swords! Deserts! Pythons! Extreme makeup decisions!
