One thing I wasn't expecting from Night Panther back in July when we Introduced them, was an epic 11 minute heist, chase, fight video for their sex-groove "Fever" , but that's what they've gone and done. Premiered over at fellow PA dude yvynyl , "Fever" is easily one of the best music videos on a budget that I've seen in all my years of having eyes, and that's at least 11 years of eye usage. It's the band's first video, but check out their other tracks including [...]

Night Panther , the creators of "Snudge" , are heirs to the New York City sleek, animal band throne that Tigercity once occupied with divine right panache. Here, the band turns themselves on "Two Weeks", the song that made Grizzly Bear sort of famous three years ago, recast with an emphasis on colliding crystalline vocals. Stream the cover below, as well as the duo's single "Fever". Leave it to Night Panther to [...]

According to their Facebook page, Pennsylvania's Night Panther are inspired by equal parts sex, synth and Phil Collins –– that's quite the fucked up combination and we're digging it. While they prepare the release of their single, "Fever" (listen below) and record their full-length LP, they're going around covering the likes of Grizzly Bear ( who have an excellent album coming out next week, btw ). Listen to their Phil Collins synth sexplosive cover of Grizzly Bear's "Two Weeks": And here's their [...]
As though the song couldn't get any catchier already, Philly lo-fi disco duo Night Panther - descendants of White Birds and Drink Up Buttercup - recorded and released a cover of Grizzly Bear's hit "Two Weeks" last month. It's a bright and blooming rendition, reaching for (and getting close to) Passion Pit stratospheres. Download it ... Continue reading
