I'm late on Brainfeeder's growing phenomenon that goes by the name of Thundercat , so i thought i would awake from my slumber and peep " Oh Sheit It's X" , mostly because Flying Lotus lent some of his wizardly magic on the production side. It's funk driven, with an addictive 802s groove, topped off with fun, infectious lyrics. Makes me want to call someone a jive turkey while doing the twist. Normally I'd consider Andre 3000 untouchable as far as covers like this go, but I'm posting this for a couple of reasons: first, Tame Impala kind of holds their own with their spacey, straightforward/reverential take on the song, and also I'd forgotten that there was a video for the original, it's amazing, and it somehow has less than 2000 views despite being on the official Outkast channel:
