First of all, it's no secret I am a fan of Gun Party . I've had the pleasure of watching them play, booking them and even seeing them at SXSW this year. And they never fail to deliver the goods. Maybe it's me, but Gun Party seems like some sort of art school experiment gone awesome. As you may or may not guess from the name, what we have here is some festive sounding art rock, infectiously fun and uninhibited, but, as the Gun portion implies, there's also an element of risk and danger — not violence, mind you, or any sense of mean-spiritedness, but certainly an air of brazen unpredictability that keeps you on your toes. Gun Party know how to put on a good time, but I wouldn't turn my back on them for too long. [...]

Easily one of the best local music videos I've seen so far this year, this sometimes hilarious, sometimes surreal collaboration between art-punk provocateurs, Gun Party , and director Chris Bone is definitely worth the five minutes it will take you to wade through the audacious avalanche of visuals that get thrown out at you.
