Fresh off supporting Anna Calvi on the first leg of her European tour, Halloween, Alaska will be continuing their UK embarquement in support of Calvi on a string of Scottish and Irish dates next week, as well as a solo stop in t'North (see dates below). Granted, Gauntlet Hair isn't one of the best band names in recent memory. But that doesn't keep them from producing music comparable to Animal Collective; doused with reverb and handclaps. "Keep Time" is full of their signature shimmering guitars and punchy drum-machine beats. The video takes a creepier turn, following the band as they light pumpkins on fire, destroy things, and generally prove your mom right about the seedy parts of the city after dark.
