Rootsy and little bit rowdy — that's what's on the menu on Wednesday, Feb. 1, when Buzz Bands LA hosts an evening at East Hollywood's Harvard & Stone featuring music from 7Horse and Stephen Brower & the Silent Majority . Belated happy holidays post from Harvard . The band have disappeared writing the supposed follow-up to their fantastic debut. Gary Grice aka GZA/The Genius, a founding member of rap supergroup the Wu-Tang Clan, will lecture about his Clan, his craft, and his creativity on Thursday, December 1 at 4 p.m. The lecture, hosted by the Harvard's Black Men's Forum, will be followed by Q&A and is open to the public. I had the chance to catch Lights Resolve 's cryptic performance last week at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY in honor of the release of their debut album Feel You're Different . The band, dressed in all black, drew the crowd in from the very first haunting guitar ring guitarist Matt Reich let out. It's obvious these guys are digging deep.
