We forgot to ask Gary Wolstenholme if there were as many annoying pricks wearing backpacks at Hatebreed's Manchester Academy 2 show as there were when the band played London , mainly because Jamey Jasta's face just brings out the urge to M0SH in us. Hatebreed are one of the most consistently excellent live bands around. They always have been and probably always will be so we headed down to the first properly sweaty gig of the year to see Jamey Jasta growling his way through some hardcore anthems. Pre-gig meal: Chilango. Grilled chicken burrito with black beans, hot and mild salsa, lettuce. No cheese or sour cream, please. 6 things we learnt watching Hatebreed again... [...]
With each album that they put out, Hatebreed prove themselves to be more and more like the AC/DC of hardcore and metal. Much like the Australian hard rockers, Hatebreed have found themselves a deadly formula that works so well they barely stray from it, yet they pull it off with such conviction that it never becomes boring. Whereas with AC/DC it’s simple blues bases riffs, four on the floor beats and lyrical subject matter that rarely deviates from the subjects of shagging and/or drinking, Hatebreed’s [...]

Either way you look at it, with the arrival of this, their seventh studio [...]

One-Year-Old Sings Along To HATEBREED
So you're just chillin' out, and in comes your daughter requesting Hatebreed to be put on. She's one, and she knows the damn words to the song, singing them with a big smile on her face. Neilstein Soundscam: Out With the Old and In With the New
Welcome to the new and improved Neilstein Soundscam. As promised at the close of 2012, this year the column will broaden its horizons by including more than just album sales to rank bands. Using album sales figures as the sole metric for ranking bands has become outdated and no longer feels relevant. Although sales [...]
