The third artist-EP by Dresden-based label Uncanny Valley comes from House- and Hip Hop-Mastermind Cuthead and is nothing less than a proper power package. With Vibratin' things start off as deep as the bottom of the sea. Underneath Cuthead's dense drums there is an intense and meditating synth line which is eventually complimented by an acid figure as if it was an evil twin.
The problem with bands making a complete racket is that all rackets tend to be completely indistinguishable from each other. This is the main issue with Heartless' début album. It's all so very loud, intense and shouty, that it all ends up sounding a bit the same. There's no room for a tune here and the vocals are inaudible, so all we get is distortion drums and screaming. The original version of the song appeared on Nozuka's album " You I Wind Land and Sea ," and was followed up by a bilingual version featuring Zaho as well as a remixed version . "Heartless" di Kanye West ha un nuovo seguace: si tratta di Jason Derulo , artista molto apprezzato dal sottoscritto ma che avrebbe fatto meglio a non reinterpretare il brano in questione visto che ha rischiato di far cambiare la mia idea sul suo conto. Non che l'abbia cantata male ma questo effetto "affanno", vero colpevole della strozzatura e della stroncatura delle note, l'ho trovato poco gradevole.
